We had a fantastic afternoon at Staffordshire University, Stoke Campus, celebrating the outstanding extra-curricular achievements of our pupils at the Children’s University Graduation Ceremony.
Each and every one of our students demonstrated the Gorsemoor Values, showcasing their dedication, resilience, and enthusiasm for learning beyond the classroom. We could not be prouder of their incredible accomplishments!
The Children’s University is a national programme designed to inspire a love for learning by encouraging children to participate in exciting activities outside of the traditional school day. Research, including studies from the Education Endowment Foundation (EEF), highlights the positive impact of extra-curricular involvement on academic progress, confidence, and future aspirations. By engaging in validated activities, children not only develop new skills but also build a stronger sense of identity within their school and wider community.
A huge thank you to Staffordshire Children’s University for hosting such a memorable event. We are delighted to see our students’ hard work recognised in such a special way.
Congratulations to all of our amazing graduates – your journey is just beginning!
