Nursery Admissions

Welcome to Gorsemoor Primary school. Thank you for taking an interest in a place at our school nursery. We hope that you have been able to find all of the information about our nursery useful.  You can register your child for a place by completing the application form and returning it to the school office as soon as possible. We still have places available for the academic year 24-25.

We do offer places for children who are eligible for the additional funding, meaning that they are entitled to 30 hours of nursery provision rather than the universal 15 hours. Therefore, one child may use a morning and afternoon place.

All of our nursery places are allocated in accordance to our nursery admissions policy, which can be found on the website.

We do hope you choose our Nursery for your child. If you require any further information, do not hesitate to get in touch with our Nursery Manager, Mrs Campbell - ccampbell@gorsemoor.staffs.sch.uk.

You can now apply for your child's place online!  Just complete the Google form, by following the link.

Reception Admissions

All parents who wish to send their children to Gorsemoor Primary School are required to complete the Local Authority application form.  The Local Authority then determine which children are offered a school place, in accordance with their admissions policy.  Priority will be given to 'catchment area' children and to siblings of children presently at our school.  The catchment area is defined by Local Authority, details of which are available either from school office or through the admissions department.

Parents of pupils who are not allocated a place may appeal through the standard procedures.  Details of this are again available from the school office or from the admissions department.

The school published admission number (PAN) is 60.  Children are admitted to Reception classes in the September of the academic year during which their fifth birthday falls.
